Why Is Healing Hands School of Holistic Health The Preferred School for Massage Therapist Training in SoCal?… …It’s all about Opportunities & Options!

“Becoming a successful Massage Therapist requires a genuine caring for people and a willingness to gain the knowledge and skills needed to make a difference!”  That’s the philosophy of Paula Curtiss, Director for Healing Hands School of Holistic Health (HHSHH).  To date, Paula and her exceptional faculty have helped prepare more than 6,500 students for successful careers as Massage Therapists and Holistic Health Practitioners throughout Southern California.

Founded in 1992, HHSHH is one of the most referred schools for massage therapist training in the SoCal area. With campuses in Escondido and Laguna Hills, HHSHH has earned a reputation for turning out the areas’ most caring and competent Massage Therapists and Body-workers.  As a result, the quantity, quality and variety of job opportunities received by our Career Placement Department is unrivaled by newer schools whose roots don’t run quite as deep.

The abundance of job opportunities aren’t the only reasons students choose HHSHH.  The variety of financial aid options is another.  Having earned many important National Accreditations, HHSHH is authorized to accept Federal Student Aid, Vocational Rehab, Unemployment, WIA, or VA educational funds on behalf of students who qualify.   Students who fail to qualify for government funding may choose from three “in-house” payment plans HHSHH offers so anyone interested in a career in Massage can achieve their dream.

At HHSHH students also have program options.  Students who need to get working fast may select our 500-Hour Massage Therapist Program which prepares the student for State Certification through the CAMTC in as little as 7 months.  Students who can dedicate more time to their education may select our 1000-hour Holistic Health Practitioner Program which expands upon our basic Program with an addition 500 hours of classes in advanced techniques and related health practices to enhance their Massage Practice.

HHSHH offers an unprecedented class options!  Unlike many other Massage Schools that offer a “standard” program of study, HHSHH students can help design their Program based on their own preferences.  With over 80 massage and related holistic health classes to choose from, students can pursue ancient and traditional massage modalities as well as cutting edge Sports, Neuromuscular, or Energetic healing therapies.  Those interested in Holistic Health classes may explore classes in Nutrition, Herbalism, Homeopathy, Aromatherapy, Therapeutic Stretching, Breath-work, and many more!

Last but not least, HHSHH offers a variety of scheduling options.  Here, students have the option of attending classes during the day, evenings or on weekends.  They may also attend on a full-time or part-time basis and take classes individually or as part of a formal Program.

Holistic Massage School Offers Accredited CEU’s & Prep Class for MBLEx Exam

Holistic Massage School Offers

Accredited CEUs and a Prep Class for MBLEx Exam

Explaining the 2015 Massage Therapy Law to a group of Massage Therapist recruiters at her recent School Tour & Discovery Fair, Ms. Paula Curtiss, Founding Director for Healing Hands School of Holistic Health (HHSHH) had this to say:

“As of January 1st, 2015, Massage Therapists in California are required to obtain licensure after graduating from an accredited massage training program and before beginning work as a Massage Therapist.  To obtain licensure, students must complete a minimum of 500 hours of study, up from 250, and pass the standardized MBLEx examPredictably, the new law has sent many massage therapists scrambling to find an Accredited Massage Therapy School that offers the Continuing Education Credits they need to continue in their chosen profession. With over 80 massage and related Holistic Health classes, plus day evening and weekend schedules to choose from, HHSHH has become the school of choice for many new and returning massage therapy students in the OC area”.

Fortunately for Healing Hands students, their school has been around for 23 years and has met the stringent criteria necessary to qualify as an Accredited Educational Provider by the NCBTMB.  The school’s curriculum was designed to cover all MBLEx test topics and more!  These topics include: Anatomy, Physiology, Body Systems, Assessment, Application, Ethical Standards, etc.  The school’s frequently updated class, Standardized Test Practice Review,  provides students with a comprehensive plan of study, complete with learning aids and practice tests, to ensure a passing grade on the MBLEx Exam.

The Standardized Test Practice Review class offered at HHSHH not only reinforces lessons learned, it helps students retain that information, boosting their self-confidence, as well as their MBLEx test scores.

Founded in 1992, by Paula and Neha Curtiss, HHSHH has successfully prepared more than 6,000 students for satisfying careers as a Massage Therapist or Holistic Health Practitioner.  With campuses in both Escondido and Laguna Hills, HHSHH boasts two academic Programs and 80+ Massage & Holistic Health classes.  At HHSHH, students can train for a financially viable and rewarding career in less than a year!  To learn more, please visit us on-line at www.HealingHandsSchool.com or call 949.305.2722 in Laguna Hills or (760) 746-9364 in Escondido.
