Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 Tbsp oil
  2. Blend in 1 cup chopped onion and green pepper and saute (stirring often until soft).
  3. Add garlic and stir 1-2 min until fragrant.
  4. Stir in 2 cans of Tomato Puree, Paste and Chicken Boullion
  5. Add in the Bay leaves, spices, and sugar and mix thoroughly
  6. Bring to a light boil, then partially cover, reduce heat and gently simmer for 30 min

 

Angel Hair:

  • 1 lb Angel Hair Pasta, cooked ‘aldente’ according to package instructions

 

Serving

  1. Drain pasta and place in a large platter or Pasta Bowl
  2. Pour Sauce over Angel Hair and mix to coat Pasta wiith Sauce
  3. Garnish Pasta with Parmesan and Romano cheeses
  4. Top with fresh Basil leaves
  5. Serve hot and Enjoy!

E-Z Crock-Pot Pepper Steak

Ingredients:

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 2 lb. boneless beef round steak
  • 1 14.5 oz. can Petite Diced Tomatoes (drained)
  • 1 large red bell pepper (cut to bite-size strips)
  • 2 large yellow bell pepper (cut to bite-size strips)
  • 2 large sweet onions (chopped to ½-inch squares)
  • 5 cup Beef broth
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. Garlic, (minced)
  • 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 3 cups rice (cooked)
  • ¼ cup of sliced green onion

 

Directions:

  1. Coat the inside of a Crock-Pot with Pam cooking spray (Olive Oil or butter flavor)
  2. Slice meat into ½ inch thick slices (cut across the grain)
  3. Mix broth, cornstarch, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, and vinegar in a small bowl to combine
  4. Place beef, onions and bell pepper strips into the Crock-Pot
  5. Pour the broth mixture over these ingredients
  6. Top with stewed tomatoes, garlic and sliced green onions
  7. Cook on high-setting for 4 hours or on low-heat for 7 hours.
  8. Place ½ cup rice on serving plate and top with beef and vegetables
  9. Serve and Enjoy! (Makes about 6 servings)

  • Dissolve 3 packets of yeast in 1 cup of warm water
  • While yeast is dissolving, pour egg, oil, syrup and water into a blender and mix well
  • Add flour salt and sugar into a large bowl and mix thoroughly
  • Stir the dissolved yeast into the flour mixture
  • Make a small depression in the flour mixture and pour in the blender mix
  • Stir and mix all ingredients until you create a ball of dough
  • Remove from the bowl and place the ball of dough on a clean surface and knead for about 5 minutes or until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed
  • Place the ball of dough in a large pot, cover and allow to rise (about 1 hour)
  • Turn the dough out on counter again and knead for a second time.
  • Cut the large ball of dough in half and roll out into a two inch roll.
  • Cut two inch pieces and roll each piece into a long, cigar shaped piece that can be tied into a small knot -(You should get about 30 knots total)
  • Place each dough knot on a Pam sprayed cookie sheet.
  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  • Using a pastry brush or your hand…moisten each knot with water and allow to rise for a second time(about an hour).  
  • Place the cookie sheet into the hot oven and bake until lightly browned.
  • Remove from the oven, baste with melted butter, garlic and parsley and Enjoy!!!

  1. For each julep, lightly cover about 10 sprigs of mint with ½ tsp sugar, add ½ cup of Green Tea, 1/3 of the Raspberries, 1/3 of the Strawberries and 1/3 Cucumber and mix until smooth.
  2. Let stand for 5 minutes, then strain through a fine sieve into a Single Serve ice-filled cup.
  3. Top with a Mint leaf for aroma & enjoy!
